Accessibility Inclusion Plan highlights commitment to diverse and inclusive culture
The three-year Accessibility Inclusion Plan (2019-2021) outlines our approach to improving access for our people, our customers and our communities through a number of objectives, and related actions, that aim to:
- ensure our goods, services and facilities are accessible for all
- create an inclusive culture that builds confidence, enabling our people with disability or those who care for people with disability to feel supported and thrive, and
- contribute to creating inclusive communities through accessibility.
One in five Australians has a disability and this proportion is increasing with an ageing population.
We have an important role to play in supporting people with disability and their diverse needs - across all demographic and socioeconomic groups, different types and severities of disability, and varying needs for assistance.
Our Accessibility Inclusion Plan is an opportunity to further enhance our interactions with our people, our customers and local communities, and we look forward to reporting on the implementation of these actions as we deliver them.
