What is eBilling?
City West Water eBilling is an email billing service. Instead of receiving your bill by post, you can choose to receive your bills to your nominated email address.
How does eBilling work?
- After signing up for eBilling, we will send your next City West Water bill to your nominated email address
- The eBill includes a summary of your bill and a link to download a PDF of your bill in detail
- The payment arrangements and all other conditions associated with your City West Water account are applicable to the eBilling service. It simply means you’ve opted to change the method of bill delivery – instead of post, it’s by email!
How do I register?
Residential customers can sign up online. If you have a business account with us, please call us on 131 691 between 8.30am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
How often will I receive an eBill?
City West Water bills are sent out on a quarterly basis. The billing cycle we follow is identical whether you receive bills by post, or email.
What are some of the benefits of eBilling?
If you would like to reduce clutter in your home or office, or would like to do your part for the environment through reducing paper use – you may find that eBilling suits you. eBilling also offers you the convenience of being able to view and download your bills anywhere, and at any time, as long as you have email access.
Can I switch back to paper bills at any time?
Yes. If you would like to stop receiving eBills and switch back to paper bills sent to you by post, you need to let us know. Residential customers can switch back to paper through our online form and for business customers, please call us on 131 691.
What if I currently receive my bill through BPAY View?
If you are currently a BPAYView customer please contact your bank to deregister from BPAYView. From our end, we can change your bill delivery method to eBills, however you will be required to inform your bank of the change in delivery method.
What happens if I change my email address?
Once you’ve registered for eBilling, any change to your nominated email address will need to be updated on our billing system. Residential customers can update their email address through our online form and for business customers, please call us on 131 691.
What happens if I don't receive my eBill?
It’s worth checking your junk or spam folders to see if your bill has been filed incorrectly.
In some cases the email may bounce back. This will happen when your email address is invalid or your inbox is full. If this happens your email address will show on our email delivery report and will be flagged as undeliverable. A paper version of your bill will be sent to you by mail.
Your paper bill will be accompanied with a letter that explains your email delivery issue and will ask if you want to update your email address.
Can I get both eBill and paper bills?
We can provide either an eBill or a paper bill, not both.
