Mobile water fountains

At City West Water we want everyone to know the health benefits of staying hydrated, the environmental impact of single use plastic bottles and believe drinking water shouldn't cost the earth.

That's why we are pleased to provide free mobile water fountains for community events like charity gatherings or sports club events in our service area across Brimbank, Hobsons Bay, Maribyrnong, Melbourne (north of the Yarra River), Moonee Valley, Wyndham, Yarra and parts of Melton and Hume.

Our mobile water fountains come in two different sizes (small and large) and are mounted on a trailer.

Not surprisingly though, our mobile water fountains are very popular. We get lots of applications and unfortunately can't accept them all.

2020

Round 1 (for events in January – March)

This round closed in October 2019.

Round 2 (for events in April – June)

This round closed in January 2020.

 

Round 3 (for events in July – September)

This round is now closed. 

Round 4 (for events in October – December)

Applications will be accepted between 1 and 31 July. All applications for this round will be assessed during the first week of August for events in October, November and December. Applicants will be notified in the second week of August.

In assessing the evolving impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) and the government’s directive to cancel non-essential, organised gatherings of 500 people or more, we will review applications in light of the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

  3. Read and understand our Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for our mobile water fountains, your event must fit into at all of the following four criteria.

  1. Your event will be held in City West Water's service area.
  2. Your organisation has not-for-profit status.
  3. Your event will have an opportunity to educate participants on the value of water and how to use it wisely.
  4. Your event has a minimum of 2,500 participants.

How to apply

Apply online using the Mobile Water Fountain Application form. Complete all sections of the application or it will not be assessed.
