When the works on a new development are complete, each lot in the subdivision will be serviced by City West Water’s assets.
On completion of these assets we will publicly declare the land to be a serviced property for water and sewerage supply purposes. Properties may also be serviced by recycled water in certain areas.
Relevant conditions of connection will apply for each lot in the development. By virtue of Section 144 of the Water Act 1989, these conditions bind not only the present owner of each lot, but every subsequent owner.
The various conditions of connection can be downloaded from this page.
Please note, by law you must not discharge trade waste (including groundwater) into our sewer, or a sanitary drain connected to our sewer, unless you have separately obtained a trade waste agreement from us. Trade waste agreements will not be issued for the purpose of accepting ground water into our sewers on an ongoing basis. For more information refer to our What is trade waste? page.
