Credit card 

Pay online or over the phone using your Visa or Mastercard without a surcharge. 

Pay quickly and conveniently online, via our secure payment platform. Please note, we don’t accept AMEX or Diners Club.

Direct debit 

Direct debit is the easiest and quickest way to pay your bill. 

Your bill amount will automatically be withdrawn on the due date from your nominated bank account, so you never have to worry about missing a payment again! You will still receive your quarterly bill to see your detailed charges and the amount to be deducted. 

Direct Debit can also allow you to make regular smaller weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments to help smooth over your final quarterly bill.

Please note, direct debit via credit card is not currently available.  

How to set up a Direct Debit 
If you wish to have your account debited on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis, call us on 131 691 Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm to make this arrangement.

If you would like to set up a Direct Debit for the full quarterly billed amount, you can set it up in following ways:

Email a form 
You can set up a direct debit by completing and emailing our direct debitform. Please read the direct debit request agreement first. 

Please note that by submitting the form you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Direct Debit which is found on the first page of the document.

Use BPAY™ to pay bills from your bank account or credit card. 

Our BPAY™ Biller Code is 8789. 

Reference number is your City West Water account number. 

  • Log into your internet banking account (or contact your bank for assistance). 
  • Select the BPAY™ option and follow the instructions. 

If you require further assistance with getting BPAY™ set up, please contact your bank. 

Payment plans 

We offer EasyWay payment plans, as well as Centrepay for eligible customers. 

EasyWay payment plans help you make weekly, fortnightly or monthly payment instalments throughout the year, to reduce the impact of receiving a larger bill every quarter. Generally, only customers who have held a City West Water account for 12 months or more are eligible to set up an EasyWay plan. 

If you haven’t held an account for 12 months, please call us on 131 691 to discuss your circumstances further. 

Eligible residential customers who have held a City West Water account for 12 months or more and have registered for MyAccount can set up an EasyWay payment plan in MyAccount.

Centrepay is a free bill paying service for Centrelink customers to arrange regular deductions from your Centrelink payment to pay your water bill. 

You can set up Centrepay the following ways: 

  • Call us on 131 691 and we will set it up for you. 
  • Online using your Centrelink online account through myGov. 
  • Using the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app on your mobile device. 
  • In person at a Centrelink service centre.  

By calling Centrelink directly on your regular payment phone number. 

Australia Post 

Pay in person at any Australia Post store, or via the Post Billpay service - it’s convenient, secure and offers flexible payment options. 

Our Post Billpay Biller Code is 0362. 

Reference number is your City West Water account number. 

Easy ways to pay with Post Billpay: 

  • Online - pay bills online any time. 
  • Scan and pay bills with the Australia Post mobile app
  • By phone - call 131 816 to pay your bills 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 
  • In-person - present your bill at participating Australia Post locations and pay by cash, cheque or EFTPOS. 

You can send a cheque to our PO Box. 

Please ensure the following: 

  • include your Full Name and Account Number on the cheque 
  • ensure you sign the cheque 
  • ensure there are funds in the checking account to be withdrawn.

Apply a concession

If you hold an eligible concession card you may be entitled to a concession on your water bill (up to 50% off water, sewerage service and usage charges).  

Please note, the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) decides which concession cards are eligible for discounts on water and sewerage services.

Payment extensions

All residential and business customers can request a payment extension. We offer a range of bill extension options, to apply please complete the payment extensions online form, or call 131 691 and speak with our supportive and understanding team to discuss your current circumstance. 

If you complete the online form, the extension date will appear at the bottom of the screen automatically and you will receive a conformation email.
