Graduate Program 2020

Finishing your university degree and joining the workforce is an exciting step in unlocking your potential. Our graduate program is designed to do just that. Over a two year rotation program we will immerse you in a range of experiences across City West Water.

With ongoing learning and dedicated support along the way, this is an amazing opportunity to begin your career with a water industry leader.

About our program

We are offering six graduate roles across the following streams

  • Engineering,
  • Information Technology and
  • Data scientist position who will work across the organisation.

The rotations will take place over a two year rotation program. In which, we will immerse you in a range of experiences across City West Water.

The graduate program is aligned to a mindset of ongoing growth and learning – either in a classroom setting or practically speaking through hands on projects, with ongoing support from our Executive Leadership Team, Mentors, colleagues, and our Learning and Development team.

Important Dates

a. Application open and close:

  • Applications for our annual intake will open Monday 04 March 2019
  • Applications close midnight Sunday 07 April 2019

b. The screening process will take place on the following dates:

  • Shortlisting - week commencing 8 April 2019
  • Online Testing and Video Interviews – 11 April to 30 April 2019
  • Assessment Centres (Footscray) – the morning of the 01 May 2019 (Engineering Stream).
  • Behavioural Interviews - the afternoon of the 01 May 2019 (Engineering Stream).
  • Assessment Centres (Footscray) – the morning of the 03 May 2019 (Information Technology and Data Scientists Streams).
  • Behavioural Interviews - the afternoon of the 03 May 2019 (Information Technology and Data Scientists Streams).

c. Meet and Greet

  • In November - December 2019, we'll be hosting a meet and greet onsite. This is great opportunity for you to meet with your colleagues, leaders and familiarise yourself with your new office and surroundings.

d. Start date

  • The City West Water 2020 Graduate Program commences on 29 January 2020.
