This study will include: history, basic hydrology, tools and technologies, excursions to treatment plants, products and materials, asset creation process and quality assurance processes.

Certificate III in Business

The Certificate III in Business explores how our business fits in a global, Australian, Victorian and metropolitan perspective, including how the water system functions, relevant legislation, core processes, regulations and associated responsibilities.

Trade subjects

In order to undertake the Diploma of Engineering Technology, you will need to undertake a nominal 200 hours of trade subjects as a prerequisite. Units have been selected from a catalogue that will give the skills necessary to work as a Technical Officer at City West Water.
