Duties and responsibilities

The Asset Information Section records and maintains information on City West Water’s infrastructure such as sewer, drinking water and recycled water network information.

Asset Information

The information is used in the preparation of presentation maps for City West Water. These maps are available to all areas of City West Water as well as consultant engineers, local government authorities and state government departments.

  • Record infrastructure network information
  • Maintain network information
  • Verify network information in the field
  • Perform quality audits of the network information
  • Prepare presentation maps.

Which systems will you work on?

Oracle database technology for the drawing and presentation of our network information.

Our Geographic Information System (GIS) and drafting environments have been integrated to provide a common toolset based on the Autocad system.
