Manage controllable operating costs to run the business prudently and efficiently, while ensuring that we meet our regulatory obligations.
How we’ve performed:
Operating costs for the year were $73.6m against a target of $83.5m for 2007-08.
As a result of the continuation of stage 3a water restrictions in 2007-08, a lot of our water saving initiatives such as the garden program did not proceed.
Looking ahead:
We will continue to manage operating costs in order to run our business prudently and efficiently, while ensuring that we meet our regulatory obligations.
