City West Water has partnered with Vision Australia to offer alternatives to our standard accounts for customers who are blind or have low vision.
Braille summary of accounts
You can request a Braille summary of your accounts which will be sent out with your standard quarterly account.
Enlarged customer accounts
Alternatively you can request an enlarged version of your accounts instead of your standard quarterly account.

How to register
To register your interest in receiving a Braille summary of your accounts, or an enlarged version, call 131 691 or email: enquiries@citywestwater.com.au.

What information will my Braille summary of charges include?
Your City West Water Braille summary of charges will include:
- your name and address
- your account number
- the amount payable and the due date
- relevant contact numbers
- details of current charges.

Can I pay my account with my Braille summary?
No, the barcode on your normal account can not be reproduced in Braille therefore you still require your normal account to pay your bill in person.

Why do I still receive a normal account with my Braille summary?
You will continue to receive your normal accounts in addition to your Braille summary as certain information, such as the barcode required for payment made in person, can not be reproduced in Braille.
We are also required by the Essential Services Commission (ESC) to make available certain information that does not appear on the Braille summary of accounts.

What is an enlarged account?
An enlarged account is a full colour A3 version of your account that we reproduce upon request.
Please note: This is not a Large Print account.

Can I pay my account with an enlarged account?
Yes, the barcode on enlarged versions of your account can be scanned to make payment in person.

Do I need to contact City West Water each time I want to receive a Braille summary or an enlarged version of my account?
No. Once you have registered to receive a Braille summary or an enlarged version of your account you will not need to contact us again unless you move house.
If you receive more than one City West Water account, you will need to register for a Braille account, or enlarged version, for each property.

Will I receive reprints and reminder notices in Braille as well?
No. City West Water will only produce a Braille summary of your account for the first account each quarter. Reprints and reminder notices will be issued in their standard format.
