Undertaking Excavations on Your Property

If you are going to devlop or undertake works on your property, you will need to make sure that you are aware of where pipes are located on your property.

For information on property service drains inside your proeprty, please call 9835 5511.

We are able to provide you with a plan of our assets, including sewer connection points within your property boundary on request, and we will make every attempt to do this within five working days of receiving your written request and payment of the appropriate fee. The plan of your property may, on request, contain specific details of:

• pipe diameter
• pipe offset from property boundary
• pipe depth.

If the excavations are external to your property boundary, you or your contractor will need to find out where the water and sewerage pipes are located. We participate in a free service called the Melbourne One Call Service and they will be able to provide this infomation for you. Please call them on 1100 to obtain this information.
