City West Water offers a number of payment arrangements and assistance programs which provide flexible ways for you to pay your bill – with no additional fees or charges.
EasyWay Instalment Payment Options
If you are a residential customer and having difficulty paying your City West Water bill, EasyWay options offer you the choice of paying by easy regular instalments. The amount of your EasyWay instalment payments is calculated by dividing the total amount of your City West Water bills for one year (based on your previous year’s bills) into smaller weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payments. Use your EasyWay card to make a quick payment in person at Australia Post, or City West Water, pay over the phone or internet, or use BPAY™. Or, you can arrange to pay the instalments by direct debit.Flexi Payment Plan
With a Flexi Payment Plan card you can make payments in advance, as often as you like. This helps you to smooth out your payments to suit your individual needs. The amount you pay is credited to your account and you will receive your bills in the usual way. The balance owing when you receive your bill must then be paid by the due date stated. If you pay more through your Flexi Payment Plan than the amount on your bill, the credit remaining will be allocated to your next City West Water bill.Time Extension
An extension of time to pay your bill may be arranged at the discretion of City West Water, for some or all of the amount owed.Rebates and Concessions
If you hold a Pensioner Concession Card or a Gold Card (War Widows or TPI) you may be entitled to concessions on your water and sewerage charges for the property that you reside in. If you hold a current Health Care Card or Gold Card, you may be entitled to concessions on your water usage and sewage disposal charges.
One-off Financial Assistance
After an assessment of your financial needs by the Concessions Unit of the Department of Human Services, you may be entitled to one-off Government funded financial assistance through the Utility Relief Grants scheme.
Financial Counselling
City West Water can refer you to a no-cost independent financial counsellor.
Financial Hardship
If you are experiencing financial difficulties you may be eligible for financial assistance under City West Water’s Hardship assistance program.
We are currently reviewing our hardship assistance program and Hardship Policy and will place them on our website once complete.
