Trade waste is wastewater generated as the result of any commercial, trade, experimental or industrial processes and discharged to City West Water's sewerage system. It may contain chemicals, fats or detergents and is typically wastewater from washing, cleaning or rinsing processes.
The discharge of trade waste to City West Water's sewers is only permitted with City West Water's consent which can be sought by completing the Application for Commercial Waste Consent. For further information, please go to the forms and publications page.
