IS Asset Systems Administrator

We currently have an opportunity for an Asset Systems Administrator. This important role is responsible for the customer service and support for a range of computer hardware and software systems relating to Asset management, GIS and Field Mobile Computing environment to meet the on going needs of our business.

Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • PC/Network systems support – 1st & 2nd level
  •  Hardware repair (where applicable) and re/installation 
  •  Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Answering emergency calls for assistance in rectifying system malfunctions

Essential Experience:

  • Good understating of Windows XP and Win 2003 Server operating systems, MS-Office suite of applications
  •  Good working knowledge of relational database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL)
  •  Hardware knowledge, at application levels (servers, PC’s & peripherals)

To be considered for this role, you will have tertiary qualifications in computing and/or related discipline and have a strong focus on customer service with the ability to communicate effectively to people at all levels.
