Graduate Engineering Intake

City West Water offers engineering graduates a structured development program aimed at providing both on-the-job and formal training.

We have developed a technical development program as one of the many opportunities available to our staff.

The program covers three main areas - knowledge, experience and recognition. It has been designed to provide engineering graduates with an opportunity to complete technical training and gain work experience by working across various areas of the company.

The departments included in the rotation work experience scheme include:

  • Planning
  • Standards & Design
  • Capital Works
  • Asset Performance
  • Operations & Maintenance
  • Recycling and
  • Land Development

Gaining exposure to our main engineering work types will enable participants to gain a sound understanding of the function of City West Water. It will assist graduates in identifying which areas of engineering are of particular interest to them.

Each graduate will be assigned a mentor, and be encouraged to participate in various induction, and training opportunities.

Competitive starting salary - $49,340 + super + benefits
