City West Water’s Community Support Grants provide not-for–profit organisations with the opportunity to save water and encourage conservation and environmental responsibility in their communities.
The grant provides successful applicants with up to $5,000 and additional resources to turn ideas into reality. Funding is allocated twice a year (refer to When to Submit Your Application). City West Water is keen to support projects that help organisations develop strong community ties and awareness of environmental issues.
About this grant
City West Water’s community support grant program aims to develop community awareness while encouraging water savings. Our grants provide funds of up to $5,000 to not-for-profit community organisations to run small-scale water conservation and environmental projects.
Who is eligible
Funding will only be provided to small incorporated not for profit community organisations with an operating budget of less than $200,000 per year. Proof of incorporation will be required.

How to apply
Complete the application form and submit it along with supporting documentation by the closing date of either the first or second round.

What you need to do
Fully complete and submit the following application documents:

Completed and signed application form

Break-down of project costs

Quotes demonstrating where each component of the project will be sourced

Copy of public liability insurance certificate

Proof of an operating budget of less than $200,000 per year

Proof of previous projects/achievements (where applicable)

Project plan supporting information (timeline, objectives) – where applicable.

What to do after the completion of your project
Fully complete and submit:

Post project review (one month after project completion)

Community opening day/event launch plan* – when required
* The community opening day/launch plan will ensure City West Water can provide you with the necessary support nearing project completion – such as a media release or assistance with an event.
Funded projects
A list of funded projects will be made available two months after each closing date of submissions.
