Board Committees
The Board has a number of committees which meet at least quarterly, except for the Executive Remuneration Committee, which meets as required.
Audit Committee
The Audit Committee assists the Board in fulfilling its corporate governance responsibilities by reviewing our financial reports and other financial information we produce. In addition, the Committee also reviews internal control systems, legal and regulatory compliance processes, auditing and reporting processes and risk management systems.
Environmental Audit Committee
The Environmental Audit Committee assists the Board in fulfilling its environmental responsibilities by reviewing our policies and procedures for environmental compliance, processes for managing environmental risk, environmental auditing and reporting processes and the environmental reports and other environmental information we produce. The role of this Committee is changing and the new financial year will see it also review social programs.
Occupational Health and Safety Audit Committee
The Occupational Health and Safety Audit Committee assists the Board in fulfilling its corporate governance responsibilities in terms of workplace health and safety by reviewing the company’s processes for compliance with relevant workplace legislation, our workplace health and safety policies and procedures, our processes for identifying and managing occupational health and safety, as well as workplace risks and hazards and our occupational health and safety auditing and reporting processes.

Executive Remuneration Committee
The Executive Remuneration Committee comprises all non-executive directors of the Board. It is responsible for setting the company’s policy on executive remuneration and individual remuneration packages for senior executives.
