Customer and Community Care

We assist our customers in a number of ways including providing various payment options, assisting customers in financial difficulty and helping some disadvantaged customers to rectify their plumbing problems. This is a Sustainability Indicator and can be viewed here.

We also have the large Households Assistance program where households of five people or more are offered a free home audit and advice from a qualified water conservation specialist to assist with saving water inside the home.

This year, due to a computer error, we sent out incorrect bills to approximately 300 of our pensioner customers. We contacted these customers over the phone and in writing to advise them of this error and credited their next City West Water bill $25.
