Cleaner Production and Trade Waste Services

Cleaner Production and Trade Waste Services are an important part of our business. Through them we assist our commercial and industrial customers to reduce their pollutant loads, including salt discharge to sewer, to maximise opportunities for sustainable water recycling at the Western Treatment Plant, reduce water consumption and improve the quality of what is discharged to the sewer.

In 2005–06 City West Water serviced 5,733 trade waste customers, ranging from oil refineries to restaurants.
